Although there are manufacturers which provide sheets around 610mm. Nylon manufacturers produce sheets at around 3000mm long although most suppliers will offer smaller sheets. Manufacturers normally produce Nylon 6.6 Sheet in thicknesses ranging from 5mm up to a maximum of 100mm and there is a very good range in between to suit most customers requirements and applications. It is also manufactured in both natural (white) and black grades although the latter does have a reduced size range and also the black grades although the latter does have a reduced size range and also the black grade contains an additive called MOS² which improves component life and reduces friction. Nylon 6.6 Sheet is generally slightly more expensive than Nylon 6 although it does have the advantage of slightly improved performance at higher temperatures although its size range and availability is lower.
